Half of Ophelia’s creator/writer/art director is dead set on getting details right for the sake of humanity! And the other half is eccentric and experimental, dying inside if something is an overdone ripoff.
Like many artists, the broken system Jacob found himself in at a young age required him to forge a new path into uncertain wilderness. This is a rough journey, for when society values the predictable being innovative is a liability. At the same time, each stage built in him abilities that make Ophelia thrive:
Painting experience allows him to have vision for each page he plans with an artist
Writing long works such as Vagrant Prince allowed writing skills to develop, and experience with developing this epic story made possible Ophelia’s rich world
4 years teaching English in Korea taught him to lead people step by step to better versions of themselves
Ophelia’s storybook format was highly influenced by the 100s of storybooks Jacob memorized so to be available for his students
The accrued values that became compiled in the How to Be Human series paved the way for Ophelia’s charitable business plan and the core beliefs of our heroes in this series
Some of the content from the MBA program he is currently going through is appearing to be useful, because by and by this crazy idea of making a paintbrush wielding demigod girl is becoming more and more real!
